SMILE & WAVE BEANIE - PDF PATTERN

I am in love with the name of this beanie and what it stands for. The unique stitch curves up so it looks like a scallop, a wave, a smile, etc. while cinching the stitches together. The beanie makes me SO happy, puts a smile on my face and I feel like this world just needs more positivity in it. Naming it “Smile and Wave” would be a little reminder to be happy and act kind to one another. What a perfect fit! Just like this beanie will fit perfectly on YOU!

Level: Easy

You will need to know how to: Slip knot, long tail CO, twisted rib, knit, slip stitch, k2tog, weave ends, attach a pom pom. I show you how to do all of this in my video here: https://youtu.be/j4iyd-4VKe4

Available in 5 different sizes - baby(0-3 mo), toddler, child, big kid, and adult.

The two smaller sizes use the smaller sized needles and bulky weight yarn, while the bigger sizes use size 6 super bulky yarn with the bigger needles.

CABLE & BRAIDED BEANIES - PDF PATTERN

• NOTES This hat is knitted in the round, from the bottom-up. Optional: You can add a ribbing of your choice (I like K1, P1) for 4-5 rnds using the smaller size needles and then start the pattern with the larger size needles and knit 1 less cable repeat.
• Available in sizes: Adult. For a smaller size, I would suggest using size 5 bulky yarn. Even smaller, decrease your needle size. Watch my video tutorial for additional help. http://bit.ly/braidedbeanie

This EASY slouchy beanie comes in kid and adult size!

I was inspired by my little man..he is 4 years old, has lots of energy, spunk, and just so much cooler than I am. So, I decided to name it after him! This is the Zev Beanie!

I wanted a variegated yarn of white and gray and couldn’t find anything in size 6 super bulky, so I held my yarn double with this yarn and it turned out great! (Go to my blog for the yarn link)

Materials I used:
-Needles: Size US 15(10mm) 16” circular needles MY FAVORITE!!! Worth every penny, and you save $$$ because you can do everything with them!
-Yarn: Highland Roving Yarn (ON SALE!!!)
-Stitch marker 
-Tapestry needle
